I am 37-year-old married white female with 3 children and status-post hysterectomy and gastric bypass and for the last 2 years I never feel good after my gastric bypass and now I am starting to have more symptoms. I get palpitations, short of breath even at rest, difficulty swallowing, horrible headaches and I really feel like there is something wrong but the doctor is doing nothing about it and I am getting frustrated and scared to say the least. I do have MVP (mitral valve prolapse) and COPD but I have nerver smoked and not sure if this is what is wrong but I should not be feeling short of breat at rest and I am having horrible sleep and really fatigued all the time and not to mention my intolerance to heat (I cannot take the heat at all) and it makes me very sick since about 2003 soon after my total abdominal hysterectomy and BSO. I am just looking for some answers and ever since my gastric bypass in Jan. of 2005 I have been nauseated and vomit often sometimes everyday; but always nauseated no matter what, and they just keep me on Phenergan and this is no way to live at all. If any one can offer any suggestions or help that would be great and I promise I am not a hyperchondriac at all there really is something wrong with me.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
