  • This is not a diagnosis, just a thought!I had experienced similar symptoms and others as well.and just like you my chest pains and other discomfort eased of during the day.but showed again when having been still for a while. My problem came about after taking Antibiotics and it became a yeast overgrowth in the intestines.which can manifest up to 40 symptoms (not all in one person)and cause a real lot of problems if left untreated. If you wish to research this further the net is full of info as this is a common disorder.search :chronic yeast infection,( I found it was chronic only if left untreated in my case.)

  • At first I thought that you meant that you were having difficulty after doing the morning chores. My advice was going to be to stop doing chores, or do them later in the day. But now I'm thinking that you meant that you had breathing difficulties until you began doing your chores, which would mean that you should do more chores. My suggestion is, learn how to construct a sentence so that people can understand what the ***l you are saying. Good luck with whatever the problem is.

  • Have you thought of having a sleep study done? I had similar symptoms with my sleep apnea. I'd wake up in the morning coughing and unable to take deep breaths but it would go away after about an hour or so. Some nights I'd wake up completely to cough and clear my lungs out.

  • Dear Marcus, your bedside manner stinks! Some poster's grammar skills are not perfect, but we usually try to figure out what they are trying to say without getting angry. To original poster. do you have congestion at night and it clears up when you start to move around? Do you have allergies to your home, bed linens, pets. How old are you? male/female? asthma? previous illnesses?

And if you notice it upon awakening. And then as the day wears on you feel better. You can read more about it on the following web site:http://www.thesleepsite.com/

  • Could be a number of things. First and most important is to have your heart checked up. If the doctor rules out a heart condition, then I would start looking into GERD. Gerd can cause the type of pain you are describing, and it can be silent. Meaning you can have acid reflux and not even know it. Good luck!

  • Sound like asthma. Get allergy tested for feathers and dust, mold, etc.

  • Marcus, I agree with Rad-skw, we are here to encourage one another, to calm fears, share information, give some food for thought to help us ask good questions, and generally to listen; empathy is the name of the game not grammer....shame on you. David, this is a great group of people trying to help one another and they have some great ideas! Good luck, sounds like you're getting some good ideas already.Sue Vit

  • Typical symptom of GERD. The reason it's worse at night is because the acid backs all the way up to the mouth. GERD can affect your lungs if left untreated for to long. It can also be silent; meaning you might not even know you have it. If your spit is any other color then clear in the morning then that alone is a warning sign. You should ask to have the PH in your throat measured and have a endoscopy. Good Luck.
