Hi my name is Jess and I am 24,
I have just had my tsh level checked and it was 0.8. The norm is apparently between 0.4-4.0.

I don't know what else could be the problem as i have been upset for no reason and crying nearly everyday for the past 3 months... And to top it off my heart beat was irregular for 3 days... I don't know if I should get a 2nd opinion or it really is something else?

  • If the norm is the range you said was norm there.. your level would then have to be normal then.. as it falls within that normal range given. So it shouldnt then at all be an issue. Could you have depression?? It kind of sounds like it... depressed people will sometimes cry for no reason at all and worry about things which shouldnt be worried about. You should see your doctor about the crying.

  • I went and saw the doctor today and she tested me again but also said that my symptoms point more towards depression... Thankyou for replying...
