For the past 2 to 3 months I have been expierencing pain on my whole left side. Sharp chest pains, neck and shoulders, left side of my stomach , and to my back. My Doctor thought it could be gallbladder so I had tests done and that came back normal. Then he said it was anxiety so I am takeing Lexapro, it isn't doing any good. The pain in my neck and shoulder has a tingling, burning sensation to it. I am terrified I am going to have a heart attack. The pain also radiates to the left groin area. It would be great to have some opinions. Thank You So Much

Thank You So MuchNothing gets as lame as an arrogant doctor who does not know what's wrong with the patient so he has to give you a Psychiatric diagnosis without having any evidence that this is the problem, or that anxiety actually exists Psychiatry is a baseless science (is that an oxymoron?).For sure, your body is trying to tell you something- your body might be confused but you better pay close attention to what he is trying to tell you as he will continue reacting to whatever it is that is bothering him.Asking your body to shut the ***l up by drugging you with an antidepressant is totally counterproductive. You are just suppressing symptoms.* Please visit a Doctor of Oriental Medicine- preferably someone who practices NAET. You can find a listing of practitioners in your area at naet.comTry to keep a pattern of when the pains come to you.Is it after a meal? after you get to work? home? After being in the company of certain people? You might be reacting to something- if you ever have had an allergic reaction or food sensitivity, do not discard the possibility that you might be allergic to something in your environment: particleboard, new carpets, formaldehyde, it could be anything.*For now try to drink plenty of water and avoid processed food.Best.

  • Thank you for the helpful insight on this. Finally somebody can tell me something! It is very frustrating ! By the way the pain is pretty much all the time but I have noticed it getting worse around 2 to 3 weeks before menstrating.

By the way the pain is pretty much all the time but I have noticed it getting worse around 2 to 3 weeks before menstrating.Check this link- it is long, but pretty much gives plenty of details on "unrelated" symptoms that regular docs can't deal with, and some steps for safe self treatments and many comments.http://forums.wrongdiagnosis.com/showthread.php?t=7286Best.PS: Let me know how you do with NAET-It was very difficult to finally find the "it" that I was searching for, so I will save you sometime by telling you to try NAET. :)naet.com
