I am 21yrs. of age. This is NOT a BIRTH MARK as generally people think it would be.
It is bluish in colour. On first look it is percieved as a bruise because of the colour.

It covers one side of my face, starting from right corner of the forehead, moving under the eye, touching the corner of the nostril till half of my cheek.

It started appearing as a tiny blue spot on the cheek when i was around 9yrs old then rapidly grew bigger.

I am undergoing Homeopathic treatment since 2yrs but it is taking a lot of time.
Now it is becoming lighter in colour and also moving towards the
hair-line,away from the nose.
It is not visible in photograph's clicked with FLASH ON.

I still don't know what exactly is it!
There are no symptoms of it like no irritation,no rash,it seems to be underskin.
Can u advice me something as treatment or moreover the CURE.
Plz help.
I hav also attached a pic of mine if it helps.

  • go to dermatlas.org and look at the pictures. I would think it might be some kind of venous malformation of the face. Hope this helps

  • I think you would be totally happy with a good laser dermatologist. You cannot just go to anyone, but one who has studied them inside and out, otherwise they can burn you. There is a good one in Tucson, Arizona.
