My blood count came back normal... had an ultrasound which revealed 3 swollen lymph nodes by my left clavicle. I feel tired and achey - no fever but have some chills - I am very worried. Should I have them re-do my blood test? Should I have a CT scan? A biopsy? I was prescribed a 3 day supply (az-pack) of anti-biotics - It has been a week and there has been no change - am I crazy for being really worried? Please advise... Thanks!

  • Hi, Ask them to test for Kikuchis Disease, it mimics Hodgkins disease, but is benign and self-limiting inflammation of the lymph system, very deblitating. They can look it up on Medinet and see the slides of the biopsies which show how it differs from Hodgkins. Very rare, but affects young people, mainly women. All the best.
