I've heard that they will grow back or some will. Are most of yours on your arms and legs? I've never met anyone with more than I have.

  • I also have multiple lipoma's. I have never counted all of them because I don't want to know but I know that it is more than twenty. Some days they bother me and others they don't. I got my first one when I was eighteen and had it removed. Since then I have continued to grow more and more. Most of them are in my abdomen and chest and around my ribs. I also have some in my back and a couple in my legs. They are a big inconvenience in my life and I would like to find out some way to either minimize them, stop them from growing, or get rid of them all together. I hate going in to the doctor just to have him tell me that nothing is wrong. I've been told that some people grow more than others. There are too many for me. I feel like my body is being assaulted. I would like to be able to fight back to prevent this from getting any worse.

  • My husband has had numerous throughout the years and had to go into hospital when they get large enough to cause any discomfort. If you go to your doctor they will refer you to a surgeon at the hospital. It is all done in one day and you get out at night (and my husband had loads done at the same time). The recovery isnt long either just a couple of days off work. They do leave scars where the surgeon takes them out it just depends on what you hate more the scars or the lipomas.
