This has only happened two or three times (that i have seen). I have had problems with IBS for years and years, but nothing like this,

My stools have been changing constantly (everykind you can imagine!)
but in some instances I would have this long (around 4 inches) clear rubbery string that would pass. It was inanimate was easily stretched aprart, and just a really long clear string!

Any ideas of what these occasional strings are?!

  • Oh ***l no!!! (I already looked at that, lol) they are just really stringy, a little bit smaller in diameter than yarn is, clear, rubbery, about 4 inches long, and break apart easily. They're also clear and come with runny stools. Those are huge compared to what I'm talking about. I asked my sister earlier, and she said it could possibly be mucus, but would mucus ever look like that? they don't really have a head, tail, segments, it's just a clear string??
