I don't know what is wrong with me. Most of the time, I have a hard time finding the right words.I have problems concentrating for varying periods of time, having trouble organizing thoughts, and becoming easily confused or forgetful. I did pretty well in school such as test (multiple choice questions), but when it comes to speaking in front of an audience, I can't remember what to say or organize my thoughts. When I am asked questions by a panel of interviewers, I don't make sense at all. I feel like an uneducated person who been living in isolation. I am afraid that it could be affecting my job interviews, and I wont be able to find a job because of this problem. Going back when I was very young, I been in many accidents: I fell and hit the stairs, I was in a motorcycle accident riding in the backseat, I almost drowned, and I was hit by a car. These accidents happened at different point in my life before I was a teenager. Please help.

  • I think your problem sounds more like a psychological one than a physical one. I suggest you get a referral from you doctor to a counsellor or psychologist. You have had far more traumas in your life than most people and this can affect the way you feel and behave. You may suffer from shyness also. This can be helped with proper treatment. I suffered from shyness at points in my life and found hypnotherapy to be a great help. After 8 sessions I was cured and had no problem giving my final year 30min presentation to a class of 60 students and 12 teachers. In fact they can't shut me up.

It occurs in Children, and sometimes in Adults. Basically you can't pay attention for a long enough time and it eventually leads to depression. ADHD cannot be cured but it can be dealt with. I too have ADHD, and I find that it's similar to the problems you are expressing, the most important part is "I have problems concentrating" which is a key term in ADHD. Those events don't have anything to do with ADHD, but I believe that you should try your best and train yourself to become better. Living with ADHD is hard, but we're human, and can evolve enough to overcome our biggest problems. If you are very concerned with it speak with maybe a Psychiatrist about it, and hopefully he or she can help you get better. ADHD is an incurable Disorder, and more than 3-5% of the world's teenagers are dealing with it. You can also get some kind of treatment for it so speak to a Doctor more about it.*NOTE:-As a side Note speaking to a Psychiatrist DOES NOT MEAN YOU ARE CRAZY. It just means you're seeking help for a common disorder, and that is one of the best things people with ADHD can do.-If you are curious as to what ADHD is here's a link, and you can read up upon it. I'm not completely 100% sure you have it, but I think that that is one of the biggest well known disorders, and that you have symptoms of it.-One can get ADHD as either a Child or an Adult.***Here's the Link:
