Hello. My name is brittany and i recently started having, shall we say a few problems. I have hypersensitivity to temperature fluctuations. When i feel hot my skin turns really red and splotchy all over. When i get cold my skin and fingernails turn bluish purple. On top of that, if i get too hot i get nautious and i have to lie on a cold surface until i get "normal" again. Next, I have allergies and a lot of them. I am allergic to everything from roaches to chocolate. My allergist says i have an immune system "problem" where i think he said that my body kills off the good cells. I get sick all the time. Last year I had Mono along with a sinus infection. This year I had a stomach virus and the flu at the same time. Next, if crouch down or bend over, and then stand up i get dizzy i can't see at all and i start to lose balance. I don't know many 18 year olds with this many problems..and my doctor doesn't do anything about them. Can somebody please point me in the right direction or offer me any answers:confused::(????

  • Find a new doctor, one that will listen and help you. I will suggest, you get your thyroid and adrenal glands tested. Also the western Blot test for Lyme. You are to young to have this drag on forever like some of us have had. Best Wishes, hope you feel better soon.

  • You may want to get checked for parathyroidism (or other thyroid issues that won't always show up on a regular tsh blood test), metal toxicity, and Glucose (there is one to check last last threee months and average your sugar). I am 28 and actually going through all of your symptoms plus palpitations, and panic attacks. I should have all my results back by tuesday. I had halter monitor, thyroid ultrasound (blood work came back normal), and mercury & copper bloodwork. The md wanted to put me on paxil for the anxiety but the side effects could be worse than what I have now. And I know there is an underlying cause to the way I have been feeeling. It's rather annoying that the doctors nowadays are so apt to brush everything of as "simple" and just give you a pill before any of the test are back.....I'm trying to find a homeopathic MD or naturopathic md....They are more likely to run down more possiblities with you and homeopathic meds don't just mask your symptoms as modern synthetic meds do, they help your body correct it's malfunctions and work with your body....Hope this helps....good luck!

  • If I were you I would go see an Immunologist. There is a panel of blood tests they can run to check out your immune system. You might be missing they antibodies your body needs to fight infection.

  • OMG you poor girl!! I feel so bad for you. You are way too young to be having that many health problems. Even at 107 someone shouldn't have that many problems. Even though I know insurance doesn't cover it, you really should try more holistic doctors like acupuncturist or a homeopathy. My heart goes out to you. Whatever you do do NOT drink diet pop or eat anything that is 'sugar free' that contains aspartame. If you have it in your house throw it away. it is a POISON!There is an all natural sweetener that does not raise the glycemic levels and that is called Stevia, you can get it on line or at any health food store. Also you could go to your nearest health food store and talk to them, they are always very helpful and could guide you in what nutrients you could be lacking in.I hope you feel better soon!!I wish you health and happiness,Stacy
