  • Have you tried removing gluten from your diet (Celiac Disease). It's kind of the big thing they're trying to avoid misdiagnosing now days, so I would be surprised if no one had mentioned it. It sounds a lot like a food allergy from what you've said, and Celiac is a big one that gets diagnosed as anorexia nervosa despite all of the symptoms.

  • For some reason it wouldn't let me post a second ago..You likely have Celiac Disease: remove gluten from your diet and see if that helps.Otherwise, it's probably some sort of other food allergy.

  • Very generalised common symptoms there but a couple of them stand out to me which may certainly help aid diagnoses and certainly do point to a specific illness. "unable to do much exercise as it makes me feel sick and dizzy" ok.. so we are looking for an illness which exercise worsens. That rules out A LOT of illnesses. Two illnesses which cause that symptom and are usually missed by doctors are "orthostatic intollerance" (OI) issues eg being upright will make you ill.. In your case due to feeling feverish I think your issue is more than OI (thou it could be that too as OI can happen with certain illnesses including the other im about to mention). ALL your symptoms fairly clearly point to chronic fatigue immunity dysfunction syndrome, CFIDS (in which exercise or excertion of any kind.. mental or physical exertion, makes one ill). It's also called ME. Most with CFIDS are intollerant to alcohol (45-75%) and also have low BP (86%). Studies have also shown that between 20-95% of ones with CFIDS have increased urination. http://wwcoco.com/cfids/bernesx.html check that out to find out how common each of your symptoms is in CFIDS, you will see ALL your symptoms certainly fit with this illness. Unfortunately the CDC say that 80% with this issue remain sick and undiagnosed as most doctors dont know enough about this illness or have misconceptions due to lack of knowledge, to happily diagnose it. Due to this i suggest you read up on this illness yourself.. and go there with the info for your doctor. All other things do need to be ruled out before a CFIDS diagnoses can be given (as there isnt currently a blood test for it publically available but there is talk that there may be one out in a year) .. but i really dont know what else fits ALL your symptoms to a tee. http://www.prohealth.com/me-cfs/index.cfm is the biggest online site for this illness and posts all the studies etc into it. CFIDS can be a progressive worsening illness and often unfortuantly is.. esp when one isnt getting enough rest. At least 25% with this end up having to go onto disability payments.
