Hi. I am 32 years old. I stopped having my periods since I was about sixteen, I had periods about twice, then they stopped completely, except when I am on birth control pills. At 27, I was succesfully induced with pergonal and delivered twin girls. My doctor said my periods might return spontaneously but they never did. I did a hormonal test and my results were:
FSH 1.0mlu/ml.
progesterone 1.8 ng/ml.
estrogen 20pg/ml.
prolactin 10ng/ml.
TSH 1.5 mlu/ml.
T3 0.8ng/ml.
T4 4.6 ng/dl.
Does any one have any idea what may be wrong or what additional tests I may have to do to get a diagnosis? My sister has a similar condition so I am thinking it may be something genetic.
Thank you.
