For The Last Year Or So, I Have Been To The Doctor About My Ears. They Used To Drain All The Time, Then They Dried Up And Itched All The Time, Especially At Night. Doc Said, You Just Have Dry Ears. Well, Now I Am Only Hearing Out Of One Ear. Before This I Could Hear A Pin Drop, Now I Can't. Does Anyone Have A Clue??

Doc Said, You Just Have Dry Ears. Well, Now I Am Only Hearing Out Of One Ear. Before This I Could Hear A Pin Drop, Now I Can't. Does Anyone Have A Clue?? Sounds like a perforated ear drum to me. I have had perforated ear drum in left ear about 9 times now. It can be caused by going under water too deep, infection, trauma to head. It can be very painful,...sometimes painless. Affects hearing. But if not treated can lead to serious bacterial infections. (Believe me I know) Also if it doesn't heal correctly can lead to graph surgery. Hope this helps.

  • I hope the doctor has checked the channel to see that it is clear. The most logical explanation is that it is blocked with wax.
