my baby boy was diagnosed with chronic renal failure at 10 months old. Can oligohydramnios cause chronic renal failure? I had a measurement of 4cm of amniotic fluid at 35 weeks gestation. Please help!

  • I'm not an expert in this, but I wonder if you may have some genetic issues related to kidneys. Try here: http://www.americanpregnancy.org/pregnancycomplications/lowamnioticfluidoligohydramnios.htm

Try here: http://www.americanpregnancy.org/pregnancycomplications/lowamnioticfluidoligohydramnios.htm Thanks, i will try this web site. We already know it is called Denys drash syndrome that he has got. We have gone through a very tough time with this illness. We have had some genetic testing done and it's a pathyogenic gene so it has mutated within is own DNA, but alot of things that don't add up have happened, up to and after his diagnoses. Like having low anmiotic fluid, him not eating and drinking for 4 days and being turned away from the hospital, fluid around his heart in 1 of the ultrasounds i had done at 35 weeks gestation. He's had ulcers in his mouth. But no one has looked into it until his kidneys had failed. I can't understand why any of the doctors didn't do any tests earlier?
