i night last january i was sitting in class, very calm, and i started to feel like i was going to get sick. i went outside to get some air, but that did not help. my stomach was getting worse and i thought i was going to throw up (sorry) but instead i passed out in the parking lot. a lady saw me as she was walking in the parking lot woke me up and said the ambulance was on the way to sit tight. i didn't remember right away what happened. the ambulance came and checked me out, i started to feel better, they suggested i go to the hospital anyway. i got to the hospital and i still had a nausea feeling in my stomach bad. i sat there in the emergency room for about 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours and all of a sudden i started feeling like i was going to throw up again and just when i think i'm going to throw up i passed out again and this time my husband witnessed it and called for a doctor. they hooked me up to a heart monitor after i came to and moved me into another room so they could watch me. i felt better but still sick to my stomach. i guess another hour went by and i started feeling like i was going to throw up again and again i passed out. this time the heart monitor showed that my heart rate went down to 6 beats a minute for 13 second and then i snapped out of it again. i'm only 35 years old. they did all the stress tests, the heart tests, cat scan, brain wave scan and everything came back normal. they didn't know what to think. they put me in ccu for a week, nothing else happened. they gave me a shot for nausea in the emergency room before i was on the heart monitor so that went away eventually. the only option they could give me was to put a pacemaker in just in case it happens while driving, i have 5 kids to take to school. i did that and when tested it shows i have only used it 1%. they put me on topral and that is that. i still don't know what it is or why it happens. i do get horrible stomach aches real suddenly sometimes where i don't want to move, i'm not sure if that's when i used the pacemaker. any advice?? i would greatly appreciate it.

  • Ask your doctor about the vagus nerve? It runs from your brain all the way to your stomach. My mom in her mid-thirties used to pass out with similar symptoms and it was the vagus nerve. Good luck
