For a month now I couldn't have a bowel movement on my own. I used many laxatives and had to use them more than once for just a slight movement. I have very sharp pains in my lower left stomach and cramps whenever I eat. I started to get cramps like laxatives give you whenever I'd eat latly and had to go to the bathroom (I suppose from the bottles of Magnesium Citrate the doctor had me take.) My hospital tests came up clear, but I'm still in so much pain. What could it be?

  • Whats your diet like? And have you ever had an endoscopy, and ruled out things like gastroitus issues?

You may want to pick up things like acidophilus and digestive enzymes and start incorporating them with every meal, and put yourself on a 'bland' diet - things like crackers and bananas - and try to get things gently moving. Rebuilding your system can take a long time - months. The enzymes and such will 'coat' your intestines giving them a chance to heal and allow the food to glide through there easier.I would suggest introducing some things like small amounts of greens into your diet very slowly and record and monitor whats going on down there. If you start noticing things like blood in your stool, you will want to see a doctor asap however. Best of luck.
