It started about 3 month's ago, I got concerned when I looked at it in the mirror closely it has slash like cuts but no blood, going to my dentist on Monday for a biopsy, I am scared cause I smoke and drink a couple of beers now and then, some people say it's medication related some say lack of vitamin B12 some say is the chewing gum some say acid reflux some say dry mouth is this something new? I have never heard of this ever before, but it seems more and more people are experiencing this syndrome oh others say depression and post menapousal I don't know what to do does anyone have any sujestions I would like to hear them and thanks for listening.

  • I had this for 6 years no Doctor could give me a diagnosis. I started taking vitamin B12 the last 3 months everyday and it is gone.

  • In Chinese medicine, they rely heavily on the way the tongue looks for diagnosis. You might ask a doctor of Oriental Medicine for their opinion.
