I AM 21 YEARS OLD. I HAVE ENDOMETRIOSIS WHICH I JUST RECENTLY FOUND OUT IS AN AUTOIMMUNE DISEASE. I HAVE BEEN HAVING ALL SORTS OF PROBLEMS LATELY AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME.

HERE ARE MY SYMPTOMS:

1-ABDOMINAL PAIN SOMETIMES SEVERE COMES AND GOES
2-CONSTANT LOWER BACK PAIN-AT TIMES SEVERE AS WELL
3-HIP AND LEG PAIN-THERE ALL THE TIME
4-HEADACHES EVERYDAY ALMOST-SOMETIMES REALLY BAD
5-ORTHOSTATIC HYPOTENSION
6-LOSS OF PUBIC HAIR-BEEN GOING ON FOR A COUPLE MONTHS NOW
7-HEART PALPITATIONS
8-DIZZINESS
9-HEAD TINGLING-IN THE LAST MONTH
10-UPPER LEFT ABDOMINAL PAIN-IN THE LAST MONTH
11-NASUEA
12-OCCASIONAL DIARRHEA
13-TIRED MOST OF THE TIME
14-BUMPS ON THE BACK OF MY ARMS AND FRONT OF MY THIGS THAT SORT OF LOOK LIKE PIMPLES BUT THEY ARE NOT

THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR A WHILE BUT SOME OF THE SYMPTOMS JUST STARTED IN THE LAST MONTH OR TWO. i AM VERY CONCERNED AND EAGER TO FIND OUT WHAT IT COULD BE AND WHAT STEPS I NEED TO TAKE TO GET A QUICK DIAGNOSIS. IF YOU HAVE ANY OPINIONS PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SHARE THEM NO MATTER WHAT THEY MAY BE. I AM DESPERATE FOR AN ANSWER. I DON'T HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE AND SO I DON'T WANT TO GO TO THE DOCTOR IF IT IS MOST LIKELY NOT SERIOUS. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP.

  • Hi Unregistered,I know you want to avoid doctor costs. So I have only one doctor suggestion...if you haven't had your thyroid levels checked, please do. Simple, single vial blood test. Shouldn't cost too much. But it does sound like you may have hypothyroid. If that is the case, you have to get a prescription for replacement thyroid hormone. You can look into it more, here: http://www.endocrineweb.com/hypo1.html.The thing I can suggest for treatment of your symptoms if it isn't hypothyroid, that you can do yourself, is try taking a good B-complex vitamin. B vitamin deficiency can cause several things on your list of symptoms, and buying a 20 dollar bottle is a good way to gamble your money. If it doesn't help much, it is still really good for you. And if it does help, you will have found a fairly cheap way to get better. Finally, find a market or pharmacy, that has one of those blood pressure machines, and start taking your blood pressure at least once or twice a week. If you find that it is going particularly high or low, post back here, and I'll make more suggestions of how that could be playing in, and what to do.Best,Shula
