Can you tell me a medical term for this phobia?

  • Social Anxiety Disorder. But it actually depends on the fear- are you anxious about how other people will judge you, or are you inadequate about your own self and feel you might offend other people? There are medications that can help treat this, called SSRI's (Paxil and Prozac for example), however a properly trained psychologist can offer behavioural modification therapy that can often treat the problem without use of medications.

  • agoraphobia is nothing but an umbrella term.You might be allergic to something in the environment.There is a misdiagnose story here on this forum- it's about a guy misdiagnosed with social anxiety, but he had environmental allergies that created his anxiety, palpitations, panic attacks, etc. etc.Psychiatry is all bs- try NAET.
