Any input on this would be helpful, because I am at my wits end.
My legs are horribly swollen, my ankles have disappeared over the years. It was thought that I might have lymphedemia... some doctors said no, while others ordered treatment and I wrapped myself in foam and bandages for months, with no results. The swelling has crept further up my leg, and now my knees are totally swollen, as are my thighs. I cannot kneel, it is terribly painful to climb stairs (or go down) or walk for any distance.
I am overweight, but eat less than 1200 calories (meticulously watched!) a day, and exercise is painful and I seem to keep gaining weight and cannot seem to lose it, no matter what I do.
I don't want to end up in a wheelchair, as I am the sole support of my kids.
