The deliveryman for my new proform elliptical pushed the box into my foot today, when he was sliding it towards me, I thought it might have cracked the toenail before I took my sneaker off. When I took my shoe off I noticed it was just a deep purple, but the toenail is not cracked. The big toenail is purple and has discomfort to it, but I can wiggle it, so I don't think it's broke. It did not bleed and there was no fluids coming from it. The pain is only in the toenail itself. I don't have a regular doctor. Will it get better on it's own? I soaked it in epsom salt tonight. It basically feels like someone is squeezing my toe. Any idea what it might be? How long before it is back to normal? The purple had lightened up after I got done soaking it in the epsom salt. I really want to use my new elliptical machine.
