First I should start by saying that my husband was in the Gulf war, and now ever since then he has been doing this, when he eats he throws up fluid, not his food, just fluid. He starts to belch and hiccup and then he throws up, he say its like there is an air bubble there, that wont move. He has had a scan put down his throat and they said they did not find anything wrong with him there, he has been on meds for acid reflux, they dont help at all, he does it mostly when he is stressed out, which is all the time, he also works in a shop, and that has alot of fumes all around him. thought maybe that was it. but he has changed jobs and even then he will get sick. he maintains weight , so the doctors dont think that too much is wrong with him, thishas been going on for 12 years now and I need some help, PLEASE.:(

  • I think he has a problem of toxicity. There are special detoxification specialists- which deal with symptoms and patients who have been exposed to situation such as your husband.Unfortunately I do not know any I could recommend.I would recommend you to read the book "Never Be Sick Again". This is my honest advice- I wish I could just give you my copy, so you were sure I am not trying to sale anything. The book explains toxicity and deficiency and how to stay away from the things that make one sick. It is not a gimmicky book.http://www.beyondhealth.com/articles/toxic-loads.htmIf you don't mind checking out this website. Raymond Francis is the author.

  • He should also be tested for H. Pylori and Fungi infections- they can both grow in the esophagus and would go undetected with regular health panels.Specially because he went to the Gulf. People going to third world countries, or places where they don't have the best sanitary conditions might develop H. Pylori. In the medical profession there is no medical specialty on fungi. That's a problem, because these things are real.He is always stressed out. Give him a high quality multi supplement and some probiotic. Still some safe alternative detox diet- might be worth to try. Just make sure the detox specialist is not a Scientologist.

  • I am an acupuncturist, and recommend your husband try acupuncture to help his condition. It is extremely helpful for "rebellious Qi" conditions, which basically is how we diagnose vomiting. Also, I always offer a discount to war veterans and any practitioner worth their salt should do this too. Please give this a try. It is also so helpful for PTSD as nearly all veterans have.To find a practitioner near you, please go to www.acufinder.com and type in your zip code. I really think this could help him! Also, get some fresh ginger and slice it and cook in water for 10 min to make a tea. Have him drink this throughout the day it is very good remedy for nausea and digestive upset. I agree with the other posts that this could be toxic overload. There are some good metal oral chelating agents out there. One is by a company called Progena - haven't tried it but it is very good company. A good health food store should have some products to try. Hope this helps and best of luck to you.Doctor of Oriental Medicine
