I wonder who is doing the quality control on the treatment ?
A response from my follows.
I reckon the best thing that we can do to ensure the survival of Traditional Acupuncture is to:
a) not compromise our diagnostic/treatment structure
b) keep impeccable notes
c) actively seek out relationships with medical practitioners
d) keep helping people get better
Do you have any comments on how we might best handle this scenario?
My advance has been to educate the doctors, my patients and ordinary people as to the difference that a TCM(Traditional Acupuncture Medicine) loom makes and why! I actually have no problem with other professions, learning in effect a first aid level of acupuncture and using it. That is of course, as long as they comprehend that there is much more to it than that and they don't start saying things like, acupuncture doesn't work, they tried it and failed! That can be a problem.
