 I have got a vision problem which makes my eyes seem sensitive to light. My head is hot. My Doctor says it is a sinus infection and has prescribed anti-biotics doxycycline. I have had a weeks worth of doxycycline before Christmas which seemed to help a bit but the eye problem still remains and the hot head is still a bit hot. I am now on my second course of doxycycline, this time for 2 weeks at 100mg twice a day. I am about 4 days into this course. If it doesn't work my doctor says I will need to have a scan in hospital to check my sinuses. I previously had a problem with acid in my throat after a stomach infection. The hot head/eye problem started just as the acid refluxing was easing. I used herbal treatments (acidosis, slippery elm) for the acid. Has anyone any ideas ?
The eye problem is quite bad and makes driving hazardous. There is no dizziness or focus probs but it's like being slighly stoned.
