hip/vein/groin pain

I have been having, say for the last year, all kinds of strange pains in my groin area. At first, these pains happened occasionally but have now gotten where I am always in pain. The pain seemed to start in the pubic area but has now spread out down my inner thighs and on the outside of my left hip and thigh. It often feels as though my veins are hurting or burning. I also on occasion, but not often, have dark, strong smelling urine. I also have, more often than not, yellowish colored stool.
My doctor says it is more than likely from stress and sitting at a computer all day long. He gave me excercises to try but they did not really help. Running and exercise tend to reduce the pain some but I get frustrated and give up.
I am on medication for heart burn and blood pressure. (I do not have those meds with me so I am not going to try to spell them.)
Any help would be appreciated!

  • How old are you? Male or female? How is the pubic pain in the morning when you wake up? Do you have children? Are you on the pill?

  • How old are you? Male or female? How is the pubic pain in the morning when you wake up? Do you have children? Are you on the pill?I've had the same problem, pain in the groin area - inner right side, goes down a little and up a little - pain in the testicles... had it for a year - had EVERY test known to man at the time - CT scans, ultra sounds, blood tests etc... everything was negative. I did have a positive urine test, with high white blodd counts and one with a trace of blood. THye suspected a UTI - put me on antibiotics... and still no better. Eventually it gradually faded away. But who knows... If I were you, I would not rule out a UTI - it does odd things, eveyone can have different symptoms from it.

  • Check out May-Thurner syndrome, nutcracker syndrome and pelvic congestion syndrome. Good luck!
