my husband has had pain in his right hip for a few months. these last few weeks the pain has traveled across the sacrum/lower back area into the other hip. the area is always hot to the touch but he has no fever. there is a fleshy bulge that has developed on his hip area. he was recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and is currently taking glocovance 500mg once a day. he has always checked his blood pressure and it has never been high. we were at 2 different hospitals at the emergency room because the pain has become worse, and now he sometimes limps with one leg or the other, depending on which side hurts the most. the doctors at the first hospital said that it was because of his diabetes and a compressed vertebre and sent him home, finding nothing in xrays, blood tests, or urine. the second said that he would have to see a private doctor and they could not help him, preforming no blood work, urine, mri, ct or anyother tests. i need help as we have no insurance. please provide me with ideas that could be wrong. thank you for any help that you could provide.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
