My hip started "falling" out of place when I lay down in bed. Then I began having sharp pain in my groin, that last all the time and theN feels like intense pressure if I sit and lean forward. My entire thigh, including buttock, is very tender to the touch (even clothing). I get radiating pain down the back of my leg, through my buttock. Walking, sitting, lieing down all hurt constantly. Pain began in DECEMBER!!

Test performed so far: 1) Nerve conduction study, 2) X-ray, 3) MRI, 4) MRI with contrast via IV---NOTHING SHOWED UP!!!

HISTORY: Looking into autoimmune diseases for other problems. My test turn out positive one day and negative the next. They are looking into fibromyalgia and Lupus. Have had joint problems and 6 surgeries in joints before for over 10 years. Gallbladder removed and Endometriosis. Lack of collegen production and thus lax joints (multi-direction joint instability).

I am only 30 years old.

ANY IDEAS? CAN ANYONE HELP?

  • Do you feel that your groin/buttock/back pain started after the dislocation of your hip joint? Do you feel these two events are connected? Is it on the same side? Which side, left or right?
