I am a 30 year old female. My ANA results were 1020, EBV came back in the 2000's,and was active my liver enzymes came back high, my amylase was high too, my wbc came back low, I get hives I am extremely itchy even w/o the hives might be related to sjogrens that came back high at 993. I had blood work for the liver everything came back negative(all the hepatitis), had sonogram of the liver- normal, had ctscan w/contrast (oral and IV)- normal. I am pretty healthy so I thought. Went to the Drs because I am always tired and feel bloated did blood work and now I am seeing different types of Drs. You go in for one thing and they find a 100 different things. Other then the extreme tiredness and the weekly stomach pain I feel fine. The Drs don't know what is causing this. My rheumatologist said therre id definitely an autoimmune thing going on but doesn't know what. Any ideas? Does anyone else have the same symptoms?
Thanks,
Jess

  • Get the EBV panel ran again and see if it's still classified as a current infection. There is a condition known as Chronic Epstein-Barr Syndrome where the body is unable to clear the virus. Ultimately it's untreatable since it's a virus however it might clue doctors in and you could work on boosting your immune system. EBV is also responsible for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome which you might have.

But what concerns me is all of my other blood work. Also my energy level.
