So I've been having muscle soreness for like 2 weeks or more now, on my left side of the neck where the muscles are. I've been to the doctors like 5 times, and everything came back normal (did ultrasound, barium swallow, xray and some other thing where they put electrical tags and measure something, forgot what it was called)

Anyway, last week (wednesday) that area started to twitch, mostly due to the soreness, I've tried massaging it and stuff (what the doctor recommended), doesn't seem to help at the moment. I've had muscle twitches in my neck before, from a different area of the neck, from gymnastics in high school and had the same symptoms, but that was like 7 years ago. From my memory it takes a few weeks to get better.

However it is annoying me. It has the itchy-soreness feeling. Would taking nurofen or panadol help my cause (thinking of doing this temporarily)

Thanks guys.
