I believe I have been misdiagnosed with herpes. When I went to get tested, the doctor looked at my sores and basically decided right away that I had the disease. She said I had swollen lymps so that confirmed her decision. This was my first time seeing this doctor so she does not know my medical history. I was so hysterical that I didn’t think to mention that I suffer from boils under my arms and around my vaginal area. Where she was feeling for my lymps is where I get boils that sometimes never surface, so to someone who doesn’t know that it seems like my glands are swollen. I was also sick when I went to see her with a fever and a sore throat.
I really do not believe I have herpes. I don’t know if anyone has been misdiagnosed with herpes and I would like to know what herpes is often confused with.
