Hemroids or something else

I am 29 and normally in perfect health with a fairly good diet, as of New Years. I am writing because recently, i noticed a small bump next to my anus then for the last two days the bump has increased in size and sensitivity to touch. Sitting down is not fun. My bump has no discoloration. The bump is fairly soft but more firm than the surrounding area. It has nicely positioned itself to exactly where I would want to sit. It is only on the left side. I have noticed no bleeding and there is no itching. Right now my bump looks nothing like the hemroid pictures that i have seen on the internet, thank goodness. Through my internet research i recall a name thrombosed hemroids. which i think my symptoms sounds like. But also around the same time i began to feel fatigued/weak and i have difficulty controlling my body temperature. One minute i feel cold, next thing i know i'm sweating. I made an appointment at a local clinic but they can't see me for a few days. I got Preperation H yesterday and that seems to only have a very small affect. I have already changed my diet to one that is higher in fiber and i am concentrating on drinking a lot of water. And i have began to sit in the tub with warm water once a day. Any insight would be helpful. I have no idea what else it could if it is not hemroids. Of the things i saw on the internet hemroids seemed the least serious, so that is what I chose. Thank you for any assistance.

  • I too have a very similar problem. I am a fit 23 year old with a home-cooked diet and regular consumption of fluids. No discoloration but a hard lump, like a BB pellet under my skin. It's been there for five days. I usually will just get a hemmeroid and treat it with Anasol HC. This will relieve me of my problem by the next day. However, this lump won't stop "harassing" me. It was okay and at one point sitting hadn't bothered it. But tonight, I can't even sleep. I've tried hydrocortisone and will try the bath tomorrow morning. I read that an epsom salt bath helps. I have thus concluded that it is a thrombosed hemmeroid. I also read that they disappear after around eleven days. So, I would say give it some TLC. If that doesn't help, the doctor might be a smarter way of going. Good luck with everything.
