I was wondering....I have been diagnosed with BV 4 times and I was treated with the Metro gel all four times. each time the treatment worked until I had my monthly cycle then the symptoms returned. I did not have BV until I became sexually active with my current partner ( 2years with him) I even went as far as going to the health department to get a full panel STD testing done. I was negative for Chlymidia, Gonnereha, and Trichamosis ( sorry for the spelling :) I also tested negative for HIV. Is it possible for my partner to have trichamosis and that I tested negative for it? and that is whats causing the reoccurance. I know it is possible that he may have something because his ex cheated on him and got Herpes simplex 2 ( genital ) which we both tested negative for...so far. BUT I have read that sometimes STD tests come back false negative. I am so frustrated with this whole thing, I feel unclean and my "special place) smells like a fish factory. PLEASE HELP!!!!!Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
