When I was pregnant with my 2 1/2 year old daughter, the doctors discovered she had a choledochal cyst. For the most part she has been extremely healthy. The doctors recommend that she have ultrasounds done every 6 months. The last one we had showed that the cyst was not getting any larger. However, my daughter has problems with bowel movements. Is this a problem that occurs with this type of cyst? I was only ever warned of there being a problem if her bowels were white. I am worried about her, she passes a bowel movement every 7 - 9 days. And when she is finally able to pass one, it is very large and painful.:( If anyone has any knowledge of the choledochal cyst or if this is a sympton I would love to hear from you.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
