Yesterday I was holding an object in my left hand, which i was repeatedly grinding with a file in my right. My left hand became very numb, but I thought nothing of it and continued, for about an hour or so. However, I became concerned when, by eight hours later, the numbness had barely subsided. I went to bed, hoping to wake up in the morning with the numbness gone, but when I awoke it was just as bad as before. I'm worried I may have sustained, or be sustaining, nerve damage... can anyone offer any knowledge and/or advice?
Much thanks in advance.
