  • OK what the heck is Bartonella???? I would get tested for Lyme Disease and co's through a Lyme specialist only. Join Lymenet. I know bartonella for one loves the knees. I notice my symptoms flare upon exposure to EMR, too, so you may want to investigate electrosensitivities, too. • could be hormones..check with a preventative doctor for a specific formula for yourself...glands--thyroid..were you screened for diabetes? the foot could be gout-like and into the knee joint, too...look for a product online or in health food stores called "goutrol"...it won't hurt and might help..have you had a pap?

  • Here's smore............s. for Tootsie below..;) Now back to the original post... I wonder if your thyroid is out of whack...even if the test results are normal... you could still have a thyroid problem. rad-skw just posted a good link on this subject. Check into the thyroid some more perhaps, also adrenal gland and parathyroid An endocrinologist consult perhaps needed (or re-visited);) Interesting link for frequent health consumers....http://www.whale.to/a/null9.html Bless !!! .................................................................................:) Had to add dots as message was too short !

  • Huh??? Bartonella is the same thing as Cat Scratch Fever, though that's a misnomer because you don't have to get scratched by a cat to get it. They call it that because you can develop a rash that looks like a cat just scratched you (claw mark rash), though not always - some people get no rash. And for those that do get a rash, rash patterns vary, and sometimes they disappear and then reappear elsewhere. You can get it from the bite of a flea or a tick or even a mosquito, or from the bite, scratch, or saliva of an infected animal. Some doctors believe it can be transmitted sexually. If you have blood and you get bitten by an infected tick, flea, or mosquito, it doesn't matter what walk of life you come from - any one of these infections on its own could wipe you out and knock you down. It's found in reservoirs? Where did you hear that? EVERYTHING has a reservoir. where do you think diseases come from? they dont just POOF appear in your blood. for example: two types of disease cross and somehow make cat scratch disease. then a flea walks by there and pick that up. then the flea goes and bites a cat. then the cat licks/scratches/bites a person. EVERYTHING starts somewhere (i mean on the ground or in the air not in animals, things have to pick that new disease up so it can become infectious and spread)
