I am a 22 year old female. I have been having strange symptoms for a little over a year now.
June 2007- I was sent to the ER because the right side of my body went numb. I told the doctors my mother has MS and that is what happened to her when she was first diagnosed. I had a CT scan and it came back normal. My numbness disappeared 1 week later.
July 2008- I woke up one morning and the left side of my face was numb. I saw my doctor and he told me it was probably Bells Palsy. 3 weeks later most of the numbness went away, but my chin was still numb.
September 2008- I woke up early morning and I wasnt feeling well. I went back to sleep and when I woke up I was so dizzy I couldnt even walk. The next morning I was still dizzy and the left side of my face was numb again. While I was burping my baby I noticed my left hand wast moving normally. I Slept for a week. When I saw my doctor he suspected it was a stroke and I went to the ER again. I had another CT scan and it came back normal, I told the doctor about my hand and he made me do excersizes to test my motor skills-He said I was fine and I probably have an a-typical migraine. About 3 weeks later my numbness went away, but this time the top of my head was still numb.
November 2008-I woke up and went to make bottles. I noticed my right hand was not working properly and I could not bend my fingers. I was terrified and went back to sleep for about an hour. When I woke up my arm and hand would not move at all. My arm was paralyzed.
A couple of hours later my hand went back to normal. Then I woke up the next morning and it was paralyzed again! It is only now starting to go back to normal. It has almost been 2 months now.
Now the back of my neck keeps tingling
I am so worried about what is going to happen to me next. Has anybody heard of anything like this? I am going to a neurologist in March. Hopefully I can get some answers.
