I am a 25 year old man and for the past 3 weeks I have been experiencing extreme abdominal pain. The pain has been moving, sometimes right under my rib cage, others on the lower right and left sides of my abdomen and sometimes it just hurts everywhere. I have missed a significant amount of work due to this problem. When the pain first arose I was told to go to the hospital, there I was given a CT scan, x-ray, and had blood work done....nothing was found. I then went to a specialist, he gave me a upper endoscopy and took a biopsy from my stomach lining. The biopsy said everything was normal and the endoscopy said my stomach lining and esophagus were inflamed and he said it was caused by gastritis. That was over a week ago, I have changed my diet to exactly what they told me and starting taking dexalin. I finally returned to work on Monday night and I couldn't handle it. The pain is still very persistent and last night I tasted blood in the back of my throat. I don't know what to do anymore. These visits have cost me a fortune and none of them have told me anything. I don't know what else to do, can someone please help?

Ask your doctor for a scan that test its reaction to fatty isotopes.

When this condition reared its ugly head to me, my stomach was the first thing to bother me. I ended up with severe gastritis with every meal. It turned into many other symptoms one at a time. Here is a link to some info about it. http://forums.wrongdiagnosis.com/showthread.php?t=62327Check out all the basics and the list of symptoms. You will be amazed at how much b12 covers. If you get your level checked it should not be lower than 550.
