My son is 9 years old, his father recently stated that my son is studdering and is taking a long time to process his thoughts. He also has said that my son, when reading a story or watching a movie, focuses on trivial things that have little bearing on what the author/director is trying to get across to the audience. He wants my son to see the schools speech therapist....I don't know what I should do. Should I allow that to happen or should I get him evaluated by someone else? If so, who? What sort of specialist?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
