Hi,

Im an 18 year old male and have been in and out of the hospital as of late, with around 4 doctors coming to different conclusions.
Here are my symptoms/progress...some of which may not be related to the underlying cause.

4 weeks ago - Sharp pain in my neck (centeral), lasted around 3 mins and then went away. It was almost like i'd pulled a muscle, except the pain lasted longer than it would if id just pulled it. I'd just turned my head whilst at my desk, not doing sport or anything.

3 weeks ago - Neck was VERY stiff, was in constant pain unless i lay absolutely flat on my chest, with my head to either side.
Also my hands became stiff at the joints, not numb though, just had difficulty bending fingers etc.

Had tests at the hospital (physical), all nerves were responding correctly, blood pressure was fine.

Since then - Visited another hospital (private), where i was told it was bad posture, but they wanted to test for rheumatoid atheritus just in case. (Still awaiting results)

2 weeks ago - Started having pysiotherapy on my neck and then later on my hands. Improvement was massive. All that remains is a SLIGHT stiffness in my neck, pain on the left and right sides now and then (About 70% better, except for the random pain)....and my hands are slightly stiff (but about 60% better).

Now - Still have the pain in my neck.

Rheumatoid Arthiritus NEGATIVE
Lupus NEGATIVE

But also some newer symptoms

- Pains in my head, at the front and not a usual headache, once a day at the most, sharp but go away within a minute or so.
- Inflamed veins, mostly in my hands but also noticed it between my teeth and gums, and also on my penis. Most noticeable on my Penis, where the veins are larger than usual and appear bulging.
- Pains mostly in hands and now and again in my legs. The pain always seems to be where a vein is, for instance if i touch the pain, there always seems to be a vein present.
- Blotting rash, only in hands, comes and goes, but looks and reacts exactly like scarlet fever.

Also, it might be relevant to note that I've had no neurological problems at all and am not experiencing weakness, just stiffness. I can still do everything i normally would.

  • :) This sounds like something that may be easy to fix. Do you excersise & how often? My wife has back & neck problems, but does'nt follow up in the excersise dept. Let me ask you this, have you taken this up with your Heavenly Father?. If not why not? You do realize that ****s "is The Greatest Physician". I have shared with you concerning your back & neck problem; but i'm sure that our Lord & Saviour ***********t, would like to share with you your spiritual condition. I'll be here to answer any questions that you may have, As Always; In His Service.

  • Hello, me again. How are ya today? I just wanted to tell you, that you should really see a chiropraticor, a couple years ago, I injured my neck in a four wheeler accident, not a bad accident, but just enough to hurt my neck without knowing it, for years I would wake up with a stiff neck, and then my arm would go numb and I would drop things, because my hand had no strengh, they did an EMG, and found that everything there was fine, but still had the pain, I was drying off after a shower one day and drying my hair, and snap, I had what felt like electricity go done my arms and all the way done my back, they did and MRI, and found that I had a herniated disc in my neck and was pressing on my nerves, so even if you didn't hit really hard , or fell just right, there is still a chance you could have hurt it, thats something to check, but tell the doctor that you hurt your neck, so he doesn't damage something more, and see if HE will order the MRI. just to check. keep me posted. I check everyday.:)

  • Hi again, and thanks for the help. The reason i was inclined to think it wasnt a herniated disc is because of the pains in my legs. No nevrves around that area go to BOTH the hands and the legs. Lower in the neck can go to the legs but none go to both.I guess i should excersise more, but thats not a solution, thats a preventative method. I also now have a tightness in my biceps (ie. top of the arm), its not sore but feels tight and tender.

  • :) Well what da ya know, i thought you said wheel chair,, oop's. I've had mri's, my wife, & most of my friends, so what's up with that? They can pinpoint a problem, "but" it's up to us to follow up, by that i mean what your doctor recomends, yor physical therapist, etc. Hears what amazes me, i feel the same way as your providers do, that is """EXERSISE""", because if ya don't you might as well ask your coffee cup what to do! i Myself am a follower of my Lord and Saviuor ***********t; and each day i ask that He would lead, guide, and direct me. If you don't already have a relationship with Him, why not ask Him if you can start. As Always, In His Service.

  • If Doctor's announced that converting to christianity was the cure to every medical problem, there would be a lot less of us in the world. Anyway, whilst a pinched nerve/herniated disc MAY be the problem....no disc is connected to both the hands and feet, and definetly not the penis too.

  • :) Why do you ask? That is probably the one thing i have'nt tried yet, seems like i've done everything else. In the way of your personal life, how for example do you handle lifes everyday problems? Do you have a working relationship with our Creator, The Lord ***********t? & if not why not?.. I'll be happy to discuss anything you would like to. As Always In His Service.

  • As always i look for key words in a post, this one happens to be vaccine. As a child growing up, one of the first things we all have is a vaccine shot, one for this one for that. What this does is start a chain reaction that leads to more and more vaccines, flu shots, vitamin shots & so on & so on. The cure & it is a cure, is a guaranty made by our Hevenly Father, made possible by His Son The Lord ***********t. If you would care to go further, reply to this post. As Always In His Service.

  • Hello,Sorry you have been dealing with so many foolish replies when you are hoping to find some real answers. I had some great luck with this site a few months ago and am sad to see so many threads with posters who are responding with very unhelpful jokes and/or religious babble.Anyway, I had many inexplicable symptoms for a year plus, with doctors having no answers for me. The symptoms similar to yours were bulging veins (mainly noticed on the back of my hands) and a red/white rash mostly noticed on my palms. Also had arm and hand tingling, and back/abdominal pain, and constant muscle twitching. Through research on this site, and someone's helpful reply, I learned that a magnesium deficiency may be to blame. Sure enough, daily supplements slowly eliminated my symptoms one by one. Good luck!

  • :) Hello, first off i'd like to thank this forum for the chance to share!. Went to a of all places a podiatrist about a foot condition, as i sat there he asked if i had poor ciculation. The answer "yes", so he proceeded to tell me about an herb tumeric, ever hear of it? He told me that if i were to take one capsual a day that not only help my circulation, but give my body a much needed cleansing. That my friend was one month ago, and i look & feel super! You might want to try it, it can't hurt. The size of said capsual is (00) Wish you well. As Always In His Service.

  • :) Please do youself a favor, that is "never" crack your neck!, A couple months ago a fella killed himself doing it & he said he new what he was doing. Now as for me, i'm on the road to recovery, after a life filled with drug & alcohol abuse. Thank's be to God for putting me back together again. Well for now eat organic foods & try something i swear by, it's called tumeric, one capsual a day every day & watch the changes in the way you feel i promise. As Always In His Service. "Good" Luck!.
