Hi, I am a 44 year old female, In 2001-2003 I had awful headaches and short term memory loss. It then excalated to panic attacks so bad I cant hardly leave my house. In 2006 a neurolgist did an mri and wrote it off as migraine. But said "keep an eye on that blood pressure". I became worse and moved to another state after quitting my job of 15 years, I moved near my family. I then went to a clinic depressed, sad, and worse. I was told I had hypertension, bipolar, and that I was walking around with high blood pressure for years. I was told I have white matter on the brain and I have a brain of an 85 year old man. I was hospitalized twice last year and they indicated that I had 100's of Tia's in the past. Now I have been bleeding for a month and the gyn wants a hysterectomy. After learning of my past, I am now seeing a neurologist who has ordered 14 differen test, MRI CT heart test, eeg, emg, ser,,,too many to list. So far he has found nothing. My memory is terrible, headaches EVERY day, and confusion is starting to set in. What are they missing, I was tested for ms, negative. HELP, What is happening to me. Any suggestions, also my left arm is very weak and I shake alot. I am terrified.

  • What kind of stress are you under? This is exactly what I experienced, and the answers I was getting gave me no restoration. I started with a juice fast, during which I slept a lot. Then I talked to some Naturopathic professionals, and I have no more symptoms. Part of the problem was parasites, which - contrary to popular education - inhabit all areas of your body - including your head (ever had itching in your ears?) I gradually recovered from all my problems (three were heart, but my list was about 22), and now 10 years later I stay with the stuff I learned. Let me know if you want that kind of help.

  • You need to go to a rhuemitoligist. You have all the symtoms of antiphospholipid antibody syndrome.I have had alot of your symptoms for years before they figured this out .Because it took so long now i have perminate damage to vital organs.APS is very difficult to find because it goes with many other auto immume dieseses. You also need special labs that can detect this.Good luck.

  • Hello i i'm so sorry for what you are going through. This may be off the wall, but have you ever been tested for sleep apnea? I know my dad had this for years and would never do anything about it until the DR scared him enough to try it. His blood pressure has dropped, his memory is better,he is not as moody (we had to walk on pins and needles around him) and he actually has energy. I would think this would cause headaches also. I know this doesn't explain all your symptoms. My husband has had constant headaches for a year know. We have tried everything to ease the pain.He had the MRI and they said he had a few TIA's and told us it was migraines as well. I know its not that because light nor sound bothers him and to have it constantly I really don't think it would be Migraines. We finally tried Lyrica and that has helped tons. The headaches still are there, but not as bad for sure. but we are like you where is it coming from. I hope you find out some answers that is the worst feeling when you cant get any answers.

  • I am sorry for your pain. I too suffered the same symptoms as you. Mine started at the age of 42. I too have suffered migraines all my life, but what they found was I had a over active thyroid. I had to get radiation therapy so now my thyroid is under active and still causing me problems 12 years later!! The thyroid is a hard thing to control but an easy disorder to diagnois through a simple blood test. Have you had one?

  • I AM NOT A DOCTOR (for the person who does not like my posts) I have to say that your symptoms can be those of Lyme and Tick borne illnesses. Lyme is often misdiagnosed as Lupus, MS, Fibromyalgia, CFS, Alzheimer's, ALS, Migraine, Arthritis, RA, JRA, and so much more. If you don't find answers elsewhere, check with a Lyme Literate Medical Doctor. Rheumies and most neurologists don't send labs to the best labs for the best available testing. Check out Lyme information on the internet. www.Lymenet.org www.LymeAssociation.org Lyme Disease Association, Inc. - Affiliates Don't take my word for it... don't take other's words for it. Check it out yourself. If you have any questions about it, feel free to contact me. I was diagnosed with Lyme and other tick borne diseases after 16 years of wrong diagnoses. I had terrible headaches constantly for 8 years without a let up. Many doctor thought I was a head case (pardon the pun) because the testing showed nothing. Lyme can cause white plaque like MS on the brain. So if I were you, I would definitely check it out for myself. If you catch it early... treatment can be easy and effective. Waiting can mean a lifetime of big problems. I try to give this information to anyone who has symptoms that Lyme includes, because most doctors won't test for Lyme.. or if they do, they send the blood to a local lab which will no doubt come back negative. The lab, Igenex uses different sensitivities to test for tick borne illnesses and it may be helpful. So if you don't find an answer, just keep this in mind. Good luck, I hope your head ache leaves and you feel better soon.
