Hi my dad is in his late 50's and is having some health problems. The symptoms that he is experiencing are that he has episodes where he becomes dizzy, often vomits, ringing of the ears (it sounds like he is in a tunnel). He has been having these episodes about every 3 or 4 days. He is also unusually sleepy at times. He has had an MRI, which the doctor said was normal. He has had a vertigo test... also normal. Several blood labwork (not sure what).. also normal. He is going to have an audio test done this week about his hearing loss. He also currently is taking blood pressure medicine (which he has been taking for several years now). It was suggested that he visit a neurologist next. I think he may be having anxiety episodes... does anyone know about this and if so does it sound like this could be the problem? I feel like he may be suffering from hearing loss and his getting anxious about it and having these anxiety attacks.
