Im 15 years old. When i play basketball, in a warm gym, i will be sweating but my forearms and my knees will turn a deep red, in someplaces purple and will be extremely cold to the touch. I have experienced this for about 3 years and it is really inconvienent. Right now im also having breathing difficulties (breathlessness). I went to a specialist and she isnt quite sure what my problem is so im being held out of basketball untill it is figured out:( . Today I had a Angio CT scan and an ultrasound of my arms and neck and it all was normal. My doctors are meeting tomorrow to try to figure out what else the problem could be.

Any ideas? I want to get back to basketball as soon as possible. Thanks

  • Hmm, sounds like a circulatory or cardiac problem. Have the docs done an ECG?

  • Have you been to either a rheumatologist or neurologist yet?I don't know what it could be, possibly something neurological, or perhaps a vasculitis, granulomatous, or autoimmune disease.I am sorry you are having these uncomfortable symptoms and no answers yet.
