Over the last few years on and off, and now almost daily I am experiencing severe headaches. It is always on the right side. I have a lot of pressure around, behind my eye, upper cheek, jaw, teeth, and forehead. I can breathe freely through my left nostril, but my right nostril is constantly congested and usually running. The mucus is usually clear and I feel like I can never quite get the rid of the congestion through blowing my nose. Additionally, my ears pop every time I swallow or open my jaw. Lately I have been having problems with the vision in my right eye being blurry and the lid and upper brow are noticeably swollen.

Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated. I have taken several antibiotics for 'sinus infections', seen my GP and an ENT, had sinus x-rays and a CT scan of my head and there hasn't been anything found. Both my GP and ENT think there is nothing wrong with me, however I am in EXTREME pain just about everyday.

  • Do you get any relief from nasal spray at all? I am asking because I have all your symptoms as well. I have been complaining to my doc every time I see her for about 3 years! I am able to open up my nostril with nasal spray, but only after using half the bottle and tipping my head backwards in every thinkable direction. My sinuses are not infected, because only clear mucous comes out. I am sure that mine is caused by an allergy of some sort. My right eylid is swollenThe minor salivary glands in my mouth are swollenI have pressure around my eye, upper jaw, and teethMy ear often feels clogged Nothing was seen on my x-ray either... Kiera

  • Hi! Sometimes problems with digestive system can make you feel headaches, kind of foggy vision, tingling in the eyes or upper part of cheek bones, fullness in ears, stufiness in sinus, some kind of "sour"- little hurt-"watery" response from salivary glands and in my case, like a "gripping" sensation in the neck below earlobes. If i do a soft massage in that area (downwards)i feel relief instantly. But that is not going to last long because what is happening is that the lymphatic system is not working to it's full. Then i run to have lymphatic drainage from appropiate hands.Lymphatics clear you out of toxics from the body.It can be overloaded and you feel many symptoms.I have gallbladder stones and i am trying keep it.In the first place stones come from the liver and even if you take gallbladder out you can still have stones in liver and ducts. Not to mention the possible(and i know a lot of people with) digestive problems after taking it out. Other thing is if you are constantly in pain and irritating it.But this is just an example. We all need a clean system,REAL good food, not refined sugar(the less of it in general the better)Good water, exercise and a peaceful spirit.I have treatment (very little as my blood test are good)with regular MD's, naturopaths and homeopaths. For minor situations i prefer homepathics than over the counter medicines as they can be not that good for liver and kidneys.MD's are ok with this.I suggest you check your digestive system and alergies also,as well as candida and yeast in your system. they are very irritant to the body. Hope you feel better soon!! Darcy

  • Just a brief thought and perhaps a consideration..See your dentist for teeth check-ups... I know dental problems can cause headaches. Maybe not your situation but thought I'd mention just incase :) Sammyhttp://www.undiagnosedillness.org

This does sound to me like it could be sinusitis...antibiotics often don't work for this problem as it is often fungal in nature...how is your digestion? do you have gas and bloating after eating? Loose stools or constipation problems? Is your pain worse when you bend over? Best wishesDOM
