I'm a 28 yr old single mother who is celibate. That means I'm abstinant and have been for almost 2 years. This past week has been ***l. I have had severe pelvic pain and a yellow cloudy vaginal discharge. After I had a pelvic exam I was diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis. The interesting thing is that it most accompanies an STD which I don't have. I went to the ER with severe pelvic pain and they did another pelvic, comfirmed the diagnosis and sent me home. Well after vomiting at home and pain getting worse, I returned to the ER and they did another pelvic, ran my urine and blood again, plus did a CT scan and abdominal and vaginal ultrasound. I held back screams during the pelvic, and totally cried during the vaginal ultrasound. Now what I don't understand is that everything is normal! Nothing showed up on the CT or ultrasound and I'm still vomiting, having a lot of discharge and in terrible pain. Oh yead the Norco, Dilodid, and Vicodine doesn't help the pain at all. It may dull it a bit but I'm still in pain. What do I do next? I'm frustrated and tired of being in pain. Please help!
