I have experienced as a younger child around 12/13 dizzyness and even seeing sparkles once in awhile. I have fainted a couple times as I was younger. Now I am 23 and I have had kidney stones pass about 7 times in the past 4 years. I am also on Celexa for depression. Now the main thing I'm concerned about is my job. I keep getting fired or missing work because of this pressure kindof feeling in my Head.. I can't take it I hate it!. I dont know if it's pressure or dizzyness or both combined but it's really conflicting with my work. Hence it's conflicting with my life. I need to know whats going on and make it stop because I just want to get up in the morning and feel ok. Im sick and tired of this constant feeling. Is it because of my kidneys?, depression?, I dont know. I've had the laser surugery where they blast the stones. I've recently had my blood and heart checked out. I'm not sure what to do.

  • thank you very much, i'm going to write those down and goto the hospital and see if I can get checked for them. thanks! If you want to be taken seriously by your doctors, before asking doctors for more tests, i strongly suggest researching any ideas people here give you first, to make sure they in fact do fit your symptoms. Other wise you could well cause yourself to be fobbed off by them. The Adams Nance syndrome... (one of the two which has been suggested to you as being the cause of your problem)... i personally dont think it really fits .. as you havent got any heartbeat or high BP issues .. (unless you think you have small eyes, i wouldnt go even suggesting it to your doc). "Adams Nance syndrome: A rare genetic disorder characterized by rapid heartbeat, high blood pressure, small eyes and the presence of excess glycine in the urine. " The other one thou the other directed you too..(Polycythemia) does have some of your other symptoms in the 14 symptoms listed... eg disturbed vision, breathlessness ... i'd still go and research it first if i was you.. to see how it manifests in people and if it still fits your case before presenting that idea to your doctor............. I have experienced as a younger child around 12/13 dizzyness and even seeing sparkles once in awhile. I have fainted a couple times as I was younger. I'd personally relate the fainting to the issue you had as a child seeing that is when it's occurred. You say you are 23 yrs old now.. so that's a LONG time back (10 yrs!) .. so the fainting probably isnt related to the kidney stones at all. So I wouldnt go searching for fainting and kidney stones to try to find an answer to your condition. If you havent fainted while you have been getting kidney stones.. why relate the two? Yes i agree thou that something may be causing your kidney stone condition... On this site there are 54 different listed possible causes of that. the seeing sparkles and dizziness as a child.. and even the fainting (esp on standing).. could of just been a low BP thing. That's common. I used to have that issue as a child to the point of almost fainting (I had to always stand very slowly so i didnt). Was your BP low back then???? Is it still low???? (many doctors will just ignore low BP as they tend to focus more on people with high BP..but low BP can cause a lot of symptoms including those). ............. The pressure feeling and dizziness in your head.. is it worst or does it get worst on being upright????? ............... My other thought is.. has the dizziness came back or the head pressure start after you started taking the Celexa? Celexa can cause those symptoms.
