Approx 6 months ago, I started experiencing difficulty breathing and extreme fatigue. Saw my allergist b/c I though maybe asthma? Treated w/ inhalers, went away temporarily. Then about 6 weeks later returned, changed meds, DR suggested reflux-induced asthma. Went away, returned again in January this time to not leave.
Symptoms: chest tightness/pressure/itchy feeling, bubbling sensation in chest/upper throat (can feel liquids 'bubbling' down or trying to back up), shortness of breath (walking up stairs, carrying anything, walking & talking at same time, playing tennis, etc.), intermittent dry shallow cough, extreme fatigue and tiredness after getting more sleep than previously required, feel full after 5-6 six bites of food, weight loss. Random lower back pain & pain near right ovary. Got relief from sleeping sitting propped up on couch & not eating much.
Went to gastro Dr, had chest CT, endoscope. Positive for H-pylori, did the three-pack treatment, continuing to take pres. prevacid & reglan, no signs of serious reflux damage or ulcers. Told look elsewhere for answers, not gastro. Did upper GI, negative for hernia or reflux. Did see fluid back up, but eventually empties out. Chest CT negative for pulmonary embolism.
Blood tests so far show slight anemia & b12 deficiencies.
Sick of people suggesting anxiety/depression. Something is wrong-either something is deficient, blocked or growing-
Was told yesterday by complete stranger that I didn't look well, was I okay? Friend said my coloring was gray. Felt horrible, no energy.
Any ideas? Any thoughts would be appreciated, other than 'it's in your head'.
