This condition is driving me crazy so I'm hoping someone can help me. When I'm working out in the garden for several hours on a hot, humid day, I develop this red, blotchy rash on my forearms. It is not a sunburn and does not itch. It just looks bad because I have real fair skin. I don't think that I'm allergic to any weeds so I ruled that out. I thought it might be muscle fatigue in my forearms from pulling weeds but I'm not sure. The redness usually last 24-36 hours and then fades away. I'm a 41 year old male and I love gardening but this makes me want to stop. My dermatologist told me to change suntan lotions because I might be having a reaction between the lotion, sweat, and dirt but I get this even if I have a long-sleeved shirt on.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
