I am 14 and have a constant dull, dull pain (like pressure) near my groin (bladder? kidney? not sure) and today when I was urinating I saw something blood like come out and splatter onto the seat. (I am male) It looked like blood with black dots in it. I continued urinating and stared at it (urine was a dark yellow color). I have small pain when urinating and after I am done urine continues to drip out inconsistently at a small rate for 1-4 minuets.

I would really like to know what the potential problem is so I know if I should go to the doctor or not and if I do what to expect.

  • This is definitely a reason to see a doctor. There are many things that could cause blood in urine. If it is an infection, then you will need an antibiotic so it doesn't get worst. Best of luck!

  • Go see a urologist. They specialize in this area.
