For almost 4 years I have had a number of bizarre neurological symptoms. These include bouts of vertigo, time loss, tremors, muscle pain, burning, pins and needles, blurred vision and more. I've had repeated blood work done, MRI's w/wo contrast, neurological exams, ct scans, EMG's and more. I know no more today than I did when this all began. I've been told prior to MRI results that I have MS. In the absence of lesions it's determined that I do not. It has recently been suggested that it might be fibromyalgia. From what I've read I do not have all of the major symptoms and not enough of the minor.
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I know your frustration. I have had symptoms of MS for several years, and my tests came back clean to . They are now treating me for fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis right now, but I have also in the past been treated for rheumatoid arthritis and lupus has been suggested as a possible culprit as well. Unfortunately all of these diseases share many symptoms, and it is really hard for doctors to accurately diagnose a patient until their symptoms become pretty severe, and even though there is no sure answer. I you want to eliminate the idea of it being ms once and for all, you should have them do a spinal tapp on you. I know it is not a pleasant procedure, but that is the only way to know for sure when it comes to MS. Good luck to you, and let me know if you need any help.
