I have occasional joint pain and stiffness in my left knee. I saw my doc who said that it could be arthritis. I also have sever itching in the outer part of my thigh. The only meds I'm on right now is naproxen. The itching is getting so bad that I scratch until I'm bruised. My leg also feels cold and tingles. Is that common with arthritis? Btw I also have hyper-extention in my knees.

  • No,it is not common with arthritis.Did you get it x-rayed?If so,what did it show?It sounds like you need a different NSAID from the naproxen, which might even be causing your itching.

  • I forgot about your leg feeling cold and tingling. You need to have your circulation checked in that leg.How old are you and do you smoke?
